Getting Started

First, complete the Eat Run Thrive Coaching application form.
After submission, you'll receive a follow-up email with info and next steps.
If you don’t see a follow-up email within 48 hours, please check your spam folder.

After you apply for coaching, you’ll receive an email that outlines your next steps. These include:
Complete an intake questionnaire
Schedule your free consultation call
If moving forward, e-sign consent forms and pay for your plan
Begin coaching and regular check-ins

Monthly Run Coaching starts at $139/month; Nutrition Coaching at $159/month; and the Thrive Bundle (nutrition + running coaching) at $269/month.

No, you do not have to sign up for a subscription or a long-term contract with Eat Run Thrive Coaching.
Run coaching is offered on a month-to-month basis. Alternatively, you may choose to purchase a longer-term package at a discounted rate.
Nutrition coaching and the Thrive Bundle require a 3-month minimum commitment. After that period, you may choose to pay month-to-month, or to purchase a longer-term package at a discounted rate.

Yes. After you complete the application form, you’ll receive a follow-up email with info on how to schedule your free 15-minute consultation with Eat Run Thrive Coaching (phone or Zoom).
During your consultation, we’ll briefly discuss your goals and what you're looking for in a running and/or nutrition coach. This helps you and your coach ensure that working together is a good fit.

No. Eat Run Thrive Coaching’s online running and nutrition coaching services are provided remotely and are available to clients nationwide.
Note: Nutrition coaching services may not be available in all states.

Through online run coaching, Eat Run Thrive Coaching provides you with a personalized training plan, expert guidance, and ongoing support from a RRCA certified running coach.
Your training is tailored to your individual goals, fitness level, schedule, and experience level. Your running coach will also make adjustments as-needed throughout your training cycle. Learn more about the value of working with a running coach.

After you complete your initial questionnaire and free consultation with Eat Run Thrive Coaching, your coach will begin designing your personalized run training plan.
Your training plan will be delivered to you via the Final Surge platform. Using Final Surge, your coach will review your training, provide feedback, and answer any questions.
With 1:1 the monthly run coaching plan, you’ll also chat with your coach once per month via Zoom or phone.

Eat Run Thrive Coaching welcomes runners of all levels, from beginners training for their first 5k to more experienced athletes chasing a Boston Marathon qualifying time (and everything in between!).

Yes! Helping runners cross a marathon finish line for the first time is one of Eat Run Thrive Coaching’s specialties.
To prepare for your first marathon, 1:1 monthly coaching is recommended, whether you choose a running-only plan or are looking for both running and nutrition support.
Your coach will provide you with a personalized training plan, pacing guidance, race preparation tips, and support throughout your training cycle to help you arrive at the starting line confident and well-prepared.

Yes! Eat Run Thrive Coaching welcomes beginners, and new runners can absolutely benefit from working with a running coach.
One of the biggest mistakes new runners make is doing too much, too soon. Your coach will help you build your running fitness safely and effectively over time. You’re far more likely to succeed in achieving your goals with a personalized plan that works for you!

Definitely. With 1:1 run coaching, your coach will design a training plan that’s specific to your unique strengths, challenges, goals, and fitness level - including scheduling constraints.
You’ll also have a monthly check in call with your coach , which is a great time to discuss any life changes that impact your training.

It happens! Don’t panic. One of the benefits of 1:1 run coaching is that your training plan is personalized and continues to be adjusted along the way, as-needed.
Your coach will do the work of figuring out what you should be doing and when, leaving you more time and energy for the fun part: running!

Eat Run Thrive Coaching delivers all run training plans through Final Surge, an online coaching platform that allows you to view your workouts, track progress, and communicate with your coach. Final Surge is available as both a mobile app and desktop site.

Absolutely! Eat Run Thrive Coaching delivers all run training plans through the Final Surge coaching platform. Final Surge is compatible with most major fitness watches and wearables, including Garmin, COROS, Apple Watch, and Strava.

With 1:1 run coaching, you’ll chat day-to-day with your coach via Final Surge, where you can ask questions and comment on specific workouts on your training calendar.
Once per month, you’ll meet with your coach for a 30-minute check-in (Zoom or phone call).
And, if you have a goal race on the calendar, you’ll connect with your coach beforehand to discuss your race plan.

For monthly 1:1 run coaching clients, Eat Run Thrive Coaching offers in-person, one-on-one run coaching sessions in south Charlotte, North Carolina on a limited basis. In-person coaching is available only as an add-on to other run coaching services.

The Thrive Bundle is recommended for runners who want to optimize their day-to-day nutrition and/or approach to intra-run fueling.
Both beginners and advanced athletes can benefit from improving their fueling strategies. This is especially important for endurance athletes, including marathon runners!

The Thrive Bundle is Eat Run Thrive Coaching’s most comprehensive coaching package. This service includes both one-on-one run coaching and nutrition coaching, and is offered at a discounted rate when compared to purchasing each service separately.
